Tourist Information - Accommodation

The cottage is owned by Tim and Maggie Brameld and is attached to our home, which dates from 1611. The cottage was built for the village baker in 1827. It has a small but well equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge and microwave oven. The sitting room has a dining area and is comfortably furnished. It has a wood burning stove, T.V. and a radio/CD player. A steep staircase leads to a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a mixer shower over the bath.

The cottage has oil fired central heating from our boiler. All fuel and electricity are inclusive and bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. There is a sitting out area with chairs in our garden, which overlooks the castle. Washing and drying facilities are available.

One small dog is welcome. Non-smokers only please.
