Website Launch
The idea for a Grosmont community website began at a meeting in the Angel on 8th April 2008. Now, just a year later, it is up and running..!
On Sunday 5th April 2009, the Grosmont website was officially launched by local historian Phillip Morgan, author of A Grosmont Miscellany and was demonstrated by the designer, Dafydd Vaughan of Cedyrncreative.
John Rodger, chairman of the Grosmont Nave Committee, thanked all who had contributed to the project: Monmouth County Council for their grant, Helen Marshall for the logo, Richard Jordan for the photographs, Philippa May for her editorial skills and a village community group.
He stressed that the website, with its wealth of features, existed not only to encourage visitors to the village but as a tool for the community to use.
