Grosmont and District Gardening Club

NEXT MEETING Tuesday 2 May 2017.  This is a garden visit to Llanover House NP7 9EF. The gardens are 4miles South of Abergavenny on the A4042, Abergavenny to Pontypool road, in the village of Llanover. It is a 15 acre listed garden and arbore- tum with lovely water features and a circular walled garden. We will meet at the house at 6.30pm. Isobel and Jean will collect the entrance fee on the night.  The cost will be £11 per person but will include tea and homemade cakes, a talk on the history of the gardens and a guided tour of the garden

We welcome visitors and new members at all our meetings, so please come along.

CLUB INFORMATION Grosmont and District Garden Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month (except January and August) usually at Grosmont Town Hall. Our meetings start at 7.30pm. We welcome new members, so please either turn up to an event, or if you prefer please make contact and introduce yourself before coming. Either way you will be made most welcome! Membership costs are as follows: Annual Fee: Single member £12.00 Couple £20.00.  There is no attendance cost for members but Non member guests will be charged £4.00 (except for special events which will be as advertised) We have a speaker, visit or other event each meeting (please look under the events section to see what we have planned), as well as a raffle and Gardeners' Market sales table. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided as the final part of each meeting to allow time for members and guests to socialise and seek advise from our speaker or each other. 

Our Gardeners' Market provides the opportunity for members to sell their own produce, such as excess veg, pickles, eggs and plants. 20% of any sales go to club funds. We also produce a monthly newsletter for members. To see previous editions look in our downloads section.
